A monumental silhouette that reinterprets the volumes of the sleeping area through an enveloping, dramatic aesthetic. Designed by Studio Archirivolto, the Marlon bed by Cattelan Italia commands the space with a massive upholstered headboard that serves as a veritable architectural backdrop. The design’s defining feature lies in its intricate, all-over tailoring—a dense sequence of pleats that creates surface movement and accentuates tactile softness. This imposing textile structure extends laterally beyond the mattress, reaching out to seemingly embrace the bedside tables positioned behind it, thereby creating a zone of profound intimacy and sanctuary.

Meticulous attention to detail is evident in the careful selection of fine leathers and high-end technical fabrics, showcasing Italian manufacturing excellence. Balancing the opulence of the headboard is a minimalist bed frame crafted from fine wood, engineered with concealed supports that lift the structure off the floor. This design choice creates a sophisticated suspended effect, allowing the bed to appear as if it is floating with remarkable visual lightness. The interplay between the three-dimensional pleating and the clean lines of the wood transforms the piece into a magnetic focal point, redefining the atmosphere of the bedroom with avant-garde formal precision.
