Designed by Alberto Danese, the interior architecture of the Atelier display cabinet addresses the challenge of optimizing volume in contemporary spaces with absolute geometric rigor. The piece’s defining feature is its unique triangular cross-section—a feat of structural engineering that allows it to fit perfectly into an otherwise unused corner, or alternatively, to be positioned against a flat wall, where its projecting front profile creates a dynamic, three-dimensional effect. The main frame, supported by slender, black embossed-painted steel legs, features doors and side panels made of exquisite smoked glass, accented by lacquered bands and matching internal shelves. The cabinet’s true "tailored" quality is revealed in its back panel, which is fully upholstered and quilted with a diamond pattern in soft leather or eco-leather—a design choice intended to create a seamless aesthetic and material connection with the seating pieces in the Couture collection. A vertical micro-LED lighting system, integrated into the interior back panel, illuminates the display, highlighting the intricate texture of the upholstery while amplifying the glass’s natural reflections, effectively transforming the cabinet into a dramatic, jewel-box-like showcase.
