Born from the creative genius of Giorgio Cattelan, Freeway is a modular bookcase that perfectly embodies the visual identity and manufacturing excellence of Cattelan Italia. This flexible, bespoke furnishing system is a designer metal bookcase engineered to be tailored with millimetric precision to the specific space and style requirements of the user.

Thanks to versatile wall- or ceiling-mounting options, Freeway can be installed as a striking wall-mounted bookcase—including in corner configurations—or as a freestanding unit. In the latter role, it serves as an ideal, sophisticated room divider for large open-plan spaces: its lightweight metal shelves and practical suspended storage modules allow light to filter through, preserving the sense of openness within the room.

The ability to mix and match different lengths for shelves and storage units enables the creation of dynamic, asymmetrical compositions that reflect personal taste and adapt to the room's geometry. Unlike traditional wood-and-metal bookcases, Freeway celebrates the absolute purity of steel through exclusive, refined finishes—such as titanium and embossed bronze—transforming the structure into a magnificent metal masterpiece of timeless elegance.
