Designer: Paolo Cattelan

Designed by Paolo Cattelan, the interior architecture of the Address bookcase breaks free from the constraints of two-dimensionality, exploring spatial three-dimensionality through a tree-like configuration that unfolds 360 degrees around its vertical axis. This modular furnishing system offers complete layout freedom, allowing each shelf to be adjusted to a precise height and oriented in any desired position, adding depth to the overall design. Featuring a sturdy central upright in embossed lacquered steel—available in titanium or bronze finishes—this bookcase can be anchored to either the ceiling or a wall. It allows for endless customization, whether placed in the center of a room or against a wall, enabling the creation of perfect spiral geometries or dynamic, room-dividing partitions. The shelves, designed as elegant round trays crafted from fine wood—available in Canaletto walnut or burnt oak—feature bottom edges skillfully rounded inward, paired with a protective base made of lacquered metal. When positioned as a standalone element, the Address structure transcends its primary function as a storage unit, becoming a volumetric sculpture with a striking, museum-quality visual impact.
