Design: Oriano Favaretto
A novel spatial concept that fuses the stability of a floor lamp with the airy lightness of a ceiling-suspended fixture. Tramonto by Cattelan Italia enters the realm of avant-garde designer lighting with a hybrid structure stretched between floor and ceiling—a clean, rigorous vertical line designed to adorn the home's most intimate corners with a magnetic, refined presence.
The fixture’s architecture unfolds along a linear brass stem—a warm, premium material choice that acts as a visual counterpoint to the glass's transparency. This slender metal axis supports a hemispherical shade with a distinctively retro feel, molded from smoked crystal. The burnished finish of the shade acts as a sophisticated color filter: the light source is gracefully diffused, allowing the glow to spread softly and gently across the room, eliminating any harsh edges or glare.
This hybrid floor-to-ceiling lamp is engineered to add depth and character to the shadowed areas of a living space, making it the ideal tool for defining micro-environments within a contemporary open-plan layout. The geometric tension of the metal axis, combined with the spherical glass, transforms the passage of light into an architectural event capable of reshaping the room's visual boundaries with exceptional expressive rigor.
Size: 25 x 25 x H 145 cm
Light bulb not included.
