Developed by Studio Kronos for Cattelan Italia, the Nahun lighting collection serves as a sophisticated visual link, connecting individual pieces of furniture within a room and synthesizing them into a coherent, coordinated interior layout. The chandelier’s architecture is based on minimalist arches that intersect in mid-air, creating geometric sections defined by a reassuring mathematical precision. This configuration achieves its full dramatic potential through the combination of elements with varying diameters and heights; yet, it remains equally commanding when installed as a standalone piece. In such a setting, the structure uses contrast to amplify the dialogue between its own vertical lines and the horizontal planes of dining tables, lounge tables, or designer sideboards. From a technical perspective, the curved, iron-grey satin-painted steel frame features a high-efficiency LED strip along its entire outer perimeter, engineered to cast a soft, uniform light that is perfectly distributed throughout the space. The rigorous design of the fixture—supported by a black chrome steel ceiling mount—is accented at its ends by two tiny ornamental brass details, the only material flourishes on a light sculpture rooted in the purest contemporary minimalism.
