Magellano by Cattelan Italia is a designer lighting piece with a strong expressive character, created to enhance the most refined living spaces through a striking and novel geometric contrast.

The structure of this pendant lamp is built around a lowered steel ring featuring a deliberately asymmetrical and irregular silhouette. This distinctive craftsmanship evokes the charm of handmade objects, where every slight formal imperfection becomes a mark of quality and uniqueness. A high-efficiency LED light source is integrated along the inner surface of the metal profile, designed to cast a uniform, enveloping glow that fills the room without creating shadows. For complete control over the ambiance, the system can be equipped with a handy remote control featuring a dimmer to adjust light intensity.

The collection comes in two size variants—the standard model and the majestic Magellano Magnum—offering a total of four different formats. The lamp’s highly modular nature invites creative use of space: individual rings can stand alone to subtly illuminate a specific area, or be combined and layered at varying heights to create sculptural, monumental installations.
