Designer: Paolo Cattelan

Designed by Paolo Cattelan, the Toto and Toto X stool series embodies the manufacturing excellence of Cattelan Italia through a perfect synthesis of structural minimalism and functional engineering. This collection of high stools serves as an essential furnishing element for enhancing contemporary kitchens with islands and prestigious bar counters. At the heart of the design is an ergonomic shell, fully upholstered in premium hide leather—a sophisticated material choice accented by tailored stitching, which can be selected in a matching or contrasting tone to highlight the profile of the backrest. The two models differ solely in their base configuration, catering to distinct aesthetic preferences: the Toto stool features a solid, flat base in satin-finish stainless steel, while the Toto X variant offers an ultra-lightweight structure with a four-spoke base in polished aluminum. Both versions incorporate a central column equipped with a smooth swivel mechanism, a gas piston for precise height adjustment, and an integrated chrome-steel footrest, ensuring versatile utility and a sense of visual lightness without compromise.
