Design: Paolo Cattelan

In a continuous dialogue between the recent past and the near future, the Sofia chair—designed by Paolo Cattelan—stands out in the category of elegant, upholstered chairs with a timeless design. Key to this success are the ergonomics and superior comfort of the cushioned upholstery; combined with the understated aesthetic of the solid wood base, these features make this modern chair the perfect furnishing solution to enhance the living area around the dining table. Comfort is the watchword: the slender cushion appears to gently drape over the seat and wrap around the backrest—which is also available in a high-backed version to provide optimal postural support.

The extensive Sofia family also includes elegant armchairs—designed with a cozy, enveloping feel—as well as designer kitchen stools available in two heights. This structural versatility makes the collection ideal for both refined residential settings and sophisticated contract interior design projects, highlighting the meticulous, tailored craftsmanship of the finishes and the premium quality of the materials selected for every single element.
