The Ruby collection by Cattelan Italia—which brings together the Ruby sofa and the Ruby Lounge armchair into a coordinated ecosystem—establishes a new benchmark for high-end living room furniture. The design celebrates the essence of Scandinavian style and the organic geometries of the 1970s, translating them into a domestic architecture defined by rigorous visual harmony. Both pieces are built around an exposed solid wood structural element—a premium, durable material that serves as a robust frame for the generous, upholstered seat cushions. Their extra-large, ergonomic design features an enveloping backrest that flows seamlessly into the armrests, accented by tailored stitching that enhances the "cocoon" effect. Conceived for perfect spatial integration, the Ruby pieces offer exceptional stylistic versatility: they make a commanding statement as freestanding elements in minimalist residential interiors, while also serving as elite solutions for the hospitality sector, such as in hotel suites or exclusive lounge areas.
